What is Rip & Ship?

"Rip & Ship" describes the process where the seller opens the purchased product, typically trading card game packs, live on stream. This allows everyone to share in the excitement, highs, and lows of opening packs together as a community. Once opened, your cards are immediately packaged and shipped to you.

 

How is your pricing determined? 

Our pricing considers a few key factors: our purchase cost (which will decrease over time), the average market price, the average TikTok Shop price, platform fees, transaction fees, and included shipping. On a plus side, if you're outside of Georgia, you might not pay sales tax while we're still a smaller shop (this will change over time).

 

When is the store available?

Initially, this will be difficult to answer. As a brand new store, sourcing products that we can sell at a reasonable price while accounting for platform fees takes time. The best way to stay up to date is to join the Discord and sign up for the "Rip & Ship" role to receive pings when we go live and for any product drops or news!

 

I'm subscribed on twitch, how do I get the discount code?

All Twitch subscribers will recieve a 5% discount code as a thank you for supporting the stream, please ensure your twitch status is sync'd with discord to view the channel. You can find the updated discount code in the subscriber_discount_code channel. This code will change periodically so please check there if yours isn't working.

 

I can't see any items, and I'm getting an offline notification?

This pop up is displayed whenever apdrop's Lucky Breaks is offline. Currently, stock is only displayed while apdrop's Lucky Breaks is live streaming due to limited inventory. In time, as more sealed stock becomes available, offline shopping & shipping will also be offered.

 

How does shipping work?

We drop off orders every Wednesday and Sunday at the very least.

Shipping is determined by the estimated quantity of cards.

  • If you buy a single pack, it will be shipped for free in an envelope (similar to what you'd receive from TCGplayer or an eBay order) unless you select a paid shipping option.
  • If you buy multiple packs, your order will be upgraded to a bubble mailer or box for free (for purchases over $30).
  • Any other bundle or larger item will also have free shipping in a box and or bubble mailer for protection.

Please note: Shipping costs are somewhat factored into the product price. This allows all items to be listed with "free shipping," which is a win win as TikTok often offers users promo codes for such products.

 

I had to step away and missed my turn in the queue, what happens now?

If your order number was called and you weren't present, it was likely left sealed and set aside. Please ask for it to be opened if we still have it(usually a day or two). There's a chance it might have been opened for various reasons; if so, you can always ask to see the pulls or check the VOD (Video on Demand) on Twitch! Otherwise, it will be shipped sealed.
